Måsen (The Seagull by Anton Chekhov) production by Ozonteatern and Teater Mars discusses the artists conditions, unanswered love, and the clashes between the generations. The piece depicts brutally the illusions and hopes of the characters, that cannot escape their faith, whether they are coming and tragic. Freedom – lack of it – and submission follow the thematics throughout the piece.
The ages of the actors vary from 76 years to 23 years, which gives the production another dimension of the differences between generations, who holds the truth about arts and life?
