Den Osynliga Flickan (The Invisible Girl) is inspired by the Moomin stories of the Finnish author Tove Jansson. It is also a depiction of today’s society where more and more people are feeling invisible towards the rest of us, as they simultaneously can have thousands of online followers or friends. It is a manifestation of the biggest fear of being invisible to others and left out of the group. The light sculpture was exhibited at Lux Helsinki Light Festival as a part of the Lantern Park Exhibition in 2014 and 2015.
