Mindscapes Landscapes is a performance where environmental installation meet contemporary dance and live-cinema. The concept by Salvesen is based on a camera obscura which works as the viewing space for the audience. The performance that happens outside is projected through the camera obscura into the viewing space. The piece works with the dissonance between outside and inside, and asks the audience to reflect upon their own relationships with the surrounding landscape. Mindscapes Landscapes is a site specific piece that takes on famous and well known Finnish landscapes as a backdrop and starting point for each performance.

Performances will be on 10 different locations in Finland from July to August 2017.
